Flotto's Strongest Warrior https://flotto.vercel.app/ Join the Community Discord: https://discord.gg/TXgnGpRtfJ Download Better Minesweeper: https://betterminesweeper.com/ Check out the Unified Leaderboard: https://minemasters.pro/unified-leaderboard/ I have switched to Better Minesweeper. It has a stronger vision for the future of Minesweeper than this site. I love this site's community, but not its direction. Better Minesweeper is the best accessible way to play Minesweeper with most of the gameplay features of this site and more. Its focus on customisation is second to none. The Unified Leaderboard is the modern standard for viewing speed and efficiency scores across versions (MSGame, Saolei.wang, WoM, and external replays). BMS replays are accepted. I have made a WoM-style dark skin for BMS: https://tinyurl.com/47cc746r _____________________________________________________________________ Discord: Gadgetlab 🦆🏳‍🌈 (any/all) Minesweeper Community Timeline https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ajAI5fOuqQFpCEz0ebWxjYjneS6hYZR70oFPgvUeHVE What I use: Zoom: 16 zoom, 1080p, 15.6 in diagonal (125%) (HP Pavillion 15), windowed Skin: WoM Dark, 16px (low resolution pixelated), colourful high contrast (on bms) Chording: L, but can play at the same level on L+R Mouse settings: 1100dpi, mouse acceleration (enhanced mouse precision), 60hz Mouse: Razer DeathAdder V2 (wired) Mouse mat: Razer Gigantus V2 (Medium) Enabled stats: Time, Est. Time,, 3bv/s, Cl/s, IOE, ThrP, 3BV, Clicks (Effective and wasted), ZiNi (all), Max Eff, Ops, STNB I reset using the top bar, and have the timer and arena ticket appearance disabled ZiNi Guide (heart would be appreciated) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dVxVY8lpIzVsODpW6sFEJMhsHD0v7vMf-TsBbu_Mx-U L_ZiNi Leadboard https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ukdy9qpjIwJX1i2-7OAK_lLrd9e2zhH_D9o1fRXCz1k Theoretical Efficiency Patterns: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dzSe0qBDQb9Ea2aJXWRGzKD9MtH5Eg4y-7rWZvDImsQ My main advice for speed: (1) If you place a flag, use it in a chord (2) Play efficiency (3) Replay and analyse a lot of games Four non-trivial principles of Minimum Click Efficiency: (1) Split Chords are superior to One-sided Chords (2) Opening Predictions = Setup Clicks (3) Key Squares > NF Clicks > (2) > Split Chords (4) Prioritise clicks closer to the edges of sections Notions I support for the site: > Remove hints in High Difficulty > Remove the Mine counting button > More statistics and rankings > More customisation options > More and clearer resources for improving at Minesweeper > Clearer communication and transparency from WoM > Simplify the economy Legitimate scores should never be deleted. The title is correct according to the convention I have adopted Panic, anxiety, and over a year of rust and forgotten hope surfaced after each successful chord until finally - after trying to lock in with 40 minutes of paranoid safe efficiency, brain.exe, and manual minecounting - the board was completed.
