--- Friend Quest month: --- - I'll complete any quest you send me, *except* beg ws and exp nf. That includes even the hardest customs, which I actually kind of love doing. I have a 100% completion rate the last 2 friend quest seasons. - If you want payment, please DM me before sending (unless you're a Flotto member). My inclination to pay depends on what my queue looks like and what kind of quest(s) you have. - You can also send exchanges if I'm full. My promise to you (whether you're in Flotto or not) is that I will accept or reject an exchange at least 4 hours before reset, so you have time to find another taker. - If you want to skip all the haggling in chat, just join Flotto (https://flotto.vercel.app/about ) and buy/sell quests the intelligent way. -- Join the Minesweeper Community Discord! -- The largest and most fun group devoted to the game, with over 5,000 members now. Permanent invite link: https://discord.gg/25wxJYSrkp -- Check out my Guide -- Finally published my Advanced Techniques with Practice Puzzles guide! It teaches all the stuff (solving patterns, guessing strategies) that you need when playing mastery or high difficulty. And it then gives you scenarios to practice on. It's long, but you can just read the parts you need one at a time. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1D0P7nlRoCC5c1Cv6U75Ykyc-hxW7Ti9H-3vG_pgnI_g/edit?usp=sharing -- My play style -- I'm something of a high-diff specialist. I feel comfortable even in high densities up to 25%. Custom boards, Random or High-Diff Arenas, Expert challenges, etc are my bread-and-butter. Playing a lot of Evil NG trained me to spot what you need to spot in those situations. But I'm not fast, and I'll never be all that fast. -- Event Point Pace Calculator -- Quick tool to help you keep track of your EP earning rate and see whether you're on pace for your season goal, ahead of schedule or behind. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LHs4N9RaRjVG-VPGMWPUCC1OkemIL7SuprjRBQE2q2o/edit?gid=1112531335#gid=1112531335 -- Event Shop value spreadsheet -- Not sure what to spend those event points on? Try Boru's brilliant valuation tool, based on all market prices. I help edit it. Finally! Although I still find exp eff super fun, so I might keep trying until I do it again. - Get a good expert mastery run, in this brave new hintless world -- I keep breaking decent starts at mastery to go play exp eff, so this might be a while. - Get the rest of the arena points; suck it up and do L8 Nightmare (UGH!), and keep trying No Flags until I make it (I'm somewhat close, if I don't screw up). - Toss Mastery to the winds and focus on trying to improve my speed pb. I'm up to around 2.3 3bv/s on expert, so with a good board and a bit of luck I should be able to crack under-70", maybe even the low 60s. Must've spent 5 hours on each, and hundreds of tries. 24% density is right at the limit of what I could do at the time, and I was super excited to finally conquer 'em (and under time pressure, too!). -- A few milestones / Timeline -- - Account created Dec 2021. Played a lot through Feb 2022 (got to 6k EP) - Largely took a break from March 2022 - Dec 2023. Came back then. - 1000 trophies: 2024-05-28 - First and Second Perfect equipment: 2024-06-30 (Sonar with Event points, crafted the Hull). - Third Perfect: 2024-07-07: Overpaid Yermak in unsold equipment and mc for my Radar. - Fourth perfect: 2024-09-06; crafted a PE-G after a deal with SweeperZero fell through. - Fifth perfect: 2024-10-26, event points for my PT-O, but I'm still wearing the Legendary because it has better bonuses, I'll probably wear it until I can get the -Dep upgrade. - Highest-ever Season rank: October 2024, #80. - 2025-06-30: -Dep upgrade after grinding the Friend Quest event - 2025-07-16: -Dap upgrade after I got a crazy generous bounty for publishing my guide, and was able to convert it to enough perfect parts - 2025-09-10: -Dsq upgrade after a big sequence of perfect-parts trades. No more low-level dailies! - 2025-10-30: -Ddq upgrade following an event points pb (42k). Events are easy now. - 2025-12-02: Eff exp 141% pb (prev: 137%), hitting my goal, and promoting me to Field Marshal (1100 trophies) - 2025-12-11: First Sonar upgrade (minecoins). Will probably next do Gems (-Dg) for all, and/or Topaz. - 2026-09-05: Took the plunge with custom talents. I miss my Elite% from Ascension already.
