PvP
PvP (Player-versus-Player) is a competitive game mode where you compete against players of a similar skill level. The goal is to climb the ranked ladder by earning League Points (LP), which allows you to advance through the various Leagues. The higher your current rating, the greater the reward you receive for winning PvP-games.
You can initiate PvP-matches directly with your friends by creating a lobby. To begin, you must first create a lobby. Once your private lobby is set up, you need to share the unique lobby link with your friend. This link allows them to join your lobby and participate in matches with you. Rewards for completing lobby games depend on the selected board and your current league points. The higher your rating, the greater the rewards. MMRMMR (Matchmaking Rating) is the core of the ranked system. It's a hidden score that reflects your true skill level, and its main purpose is to create fair and balanced matches. Your MMR directly determines the rate at which you gain or lose League Points (LP) on the visible rank ladder.
SeasonsA PvP season defines a fixed, three-month period dedicated to intense competitive play and rank progression. The launch of every new season involves a soft reset of the ranked standings. To determine your initial starting point on the competitive ladder, players are required to win 3 ranked matches. These initial games establish the player's initial League Point (LP) position, which is calculated based on their underlying Matchmaking Rating (MMR). When the season concludes, players earn season rewards determined by their final standing on the ranked ladder. |
