I'm holding an int eff competition! There will be 6 weekly competitions and a final ranking combining the results of each week. Weekly competitions require players to get 3 int games above 130% eff in 2 hours, and they can choose any time frame they want to play in during the week, but they must fill a google form before playing each week to make sure they only get one chance. Site suggestions/hopes Current trophy system has quite a few issues: Main one is rankings are too much about grinding instead of skill. I see two ways to fix this, and they are both compatible. First one is to reduce the amount of trophies that categories like equipment or experience can give. Second one, is to just remove, or move up the trophy cap from some of the more skill based categories, like speed, since a 40s exp and a 31s shouldn't give the same amount of trophies imo. The second "big" issue I see is the comparison between the different board sizes. Exp is better than the other 2 in basically every category, and that's probably intended, since exp is usually the harder and more consistent one, but sometimes it's not the best. For example, int eff isn't easier than exp eff, but the int eff cap is so much harder that only two people have reached it in the site. Then sometimes there is the opposite problem. Why does a 0 sec beginner give as many trophies as a 60s expert? Fixing this is harder for some categories, since knowing what is the same skill level in different boards can be hard. But for speed or eff, there is an easy solution of just taking the sum of your pbs. This idea is one of the things that makes me want to get rid of beginner in rankings, because for eff it'd be stupid to take it in the sum. To also make rankings less luck-based, if removing ws is too much, what could be done is to take the average of your 3-5 best scores, but this idc as much about. Anyway, idc that much about trophies, nobody is reading this, and it's not like the website is bad, just that some minor improvements would be really welcome, so this is enough. ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ 8.
