The biggest Minesweeper event of the year is almost here, and it's happening in Madrid, Spain! Top players from all over the world are gathering to compete for the prestigious title of Minesweeper World Champion.

Day 1: September 27, 2025

• 08:30: Players arrive at the venue and get set up
• 09:00–12:00: World Championship
• 12:00–14:00: Lunch break, time buffer in case of tech issues
• 14:00–17:30: Chord Cup, part 1
• 17:30–18:30: Merienda
• 18:30–21:00: Chord Cup, part 2
• 14:00–21:00: Reimbursement station
• 21:00–22:00: Awards ceremonies, thanking sponsors, etc
• 22:00–??:??: Dinner, Party (details TBA!)

Day 2: September 28, 2025

• 10:00: Players arrive
• 10:30–14:30: Minesweeper Royale
• 14:30–15:00: Minesweeper Royale awards ceremony
• 15:00–20:00: Other small Minesweeper-related activities/games, food, reimbursement station reopens

World Championship

Players play as many games as they like for 3 hours, and the sum of their 5 best intermediate and expert times is their final score.

Minesweeper application: Vienna MineSweeper. Only Left+Right chording are supported. If you haven't played with Left+Right chords before, we recommend getting used to that well before the tournament. You can switch to Left+Right chords in the settings.

The first 3 places will receive a USDT prize:

• 1st: 500 USDT
• 2nd: 300 USDT
• 3rd: 200 USDT

Total prize pool: 1000 USDT

Minesweeper Royale, our premier competition, is hosted right here, on Minesweeper.Online! To participate, players must be physically present at the championship event. The competition includes 8 categories:

• Speed
• Efficiency
• No Flags
• Win Streak
• Density
• Arena
• PvP
• Mobile

For each category, the first 3 places will receive a USDT prize:

• 1st: 225 USDT
• 2nd: 100 USDT
• 3rd: 50 USDT

Total prize pool: 3000 USDT
