Si vous êtes français (or not) et cherchez des conseils, n'hésitez pas à me mp, je répondrai à toutes vos questions avec plaisir. (©Koro https://minesweeper.online/player/5047968). Questions aussi bien sur le jeu, que meta. Je ferai du mieux que je peux, mais je n'aurai pas autant d'expérience que Koro. === Global event quest spreadsheet === As i was less and less active, thanks to Caileo https://minesweeper.online/player/19176606 for taking on the relay » December 2024 - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jGgymOPWWo1KmtbijL4g52I2vW4asWrxLQ1B1s5183o/edit?gid=1711316347#gid=1711316347 » August 2024 - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TCY96M0benbj5KWLHxitbbf4GCo4Ph9JI0YWTBIvOXo/edit?gid=1711316347#gid=1711316347 » April 2024 - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19Xsbi8m7q5FAL13-ctYNzJp_bpjHAvs3b8bKihgq-IM/edit#gid=1711316347 » December 2023 - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HtJvX8Wx3H3bEx5kFmGK3Zk6erQWPXYWD_Jr2U4Jp48/edit?pli=1#gid=1711316347 » August 2023 - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZruHS9Cq2OTTzc8GqMSp1FdIiv1CfLVf8434XJehELM/edit?pli=1#gid=1711316347 » April 2023 - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AYfCvJaKCdGC650wQRFw0s0bMO__4Vl7wB566L9GLww/edit#gid=0 > This spreadsheet tries to give a prediction on the coming quests. It may take 10-15 min to load at every first connection, so take your time to do sth else in the meantime :D Feel free to make any suggestions for improvement or any new interesting features to add. === Some thoughts and advices === I learned to play Minesweeper on Windows computer, for quite some time (>10 years) before discovering this website, and thought I did pretty decent with an Exp time around 150-170 s. But this website blew my mind and brought this game to a whole different level. The RPG / quest / event system helps, in a satisfying way, one progress in all different playstyles so that it improves one's overall skill in minesweeping. The whole Help section https://minesweeper.online/help/gameplay is really well done and there are a lot of excellent ressources that cover thoroughly all aspects of the games. So if you have time, I truly incite you to read a large part of it. Here is some personal recommandation I would add/complete: › first step for every player would be to intensively play the **NG mode**. Learning all patterns and being familiar to every logic is one great milestone in improving. That would considerably reduce the feeling of randomness: some situations may appear as guesses to inexperienced players while it can actually be solved at 100% with logic. › second step would be to practice **efficiency**. For me, it's some natural consequence of knowing well the different patterns and combining them. One big challenge in efficiency is to learn to identify and locate openings. *[I'm still around here in my path to being a better player]* › next step would be to be more and more familiar with NF (that I kind of assimilate to playing blindfold chess, even tough I don't do it neither). So that I may both have quicker NF time and better NF eff. › a long-term investment I'm affording is to spend some hints to try to get a better understanding of best guesses in a whole bunch of different situations. I don't specifically practice Speed or High diff (especially not high density). I believe that improving on speed or achieving high diff boards would results as a consequence of the four main aspects listed above. Same goes for Mastery and Win streak (especially by improving guesses). And Arenas are a funny way, to practice all this, under some time pressure. Nonetheless for High diff, keep playing them, by chance you could get one (it takes longer without optimal guess, but it is really doable). === About me === # id: 8440847 # First ever ... | ... game on Minesweeper Online: 11 May 2022, 15:53 - https://minesweeper.online/new-game?g=1331869413 # Season results › {S__ ___ 20__}: {season rk} | {event rk} | {championship rk} › S77 May 2022: 429 | 2216 | 1574 › S78 Jun 2022 : 235 | 485 | 94 › S79 Jul 2022 : 208 | 639 | 1107 › S80 Aug 2022 : 289 | 157 | 451 › S81 Sep 2022 : 31 | 81 | 455 › S82 Oct 2022 : 336 | 121 | 24 › S83 Nov 2022: 31 | 40 | 282 › S84 Dec 2022: 154 | 98 | 45 › S85 Jan 2023 : 270 | 543 | 1407 › S86 Feb 2023 : 257 | 411 | 80 › S87 Mar 2023 : 34 | 75 | 18 › S88 Apr 2023 : 76 | 120 | 181 › S89 May 2023 : 382 | 207 | 487 › S90 June 2023 : 605 | 485 | 50 › S91 July 2023 : 597 | 217 | 223 # I love doing a whole bunch of stats using spreadsheet and other scripts, so you may be surprised of what I know about you! *Last update: 03/08/2023*
